How do I make an appointment with a vision care provider on the SHIP Vision Plan?
Simply call the vision care provider office of your choice. Mention that you are a UC Davis SHIP Vision Plan member and are covered by VSP. It would be helpful if you provide your group name (“UC Davis SHIP”). Ask the vision care provider if s/he is a VSP provider. For maximum service at minimum cost, you should obtain services from a VSP provider.
