how do i make a upside down tomato planter?
A really good suggestion I got from a local farmer I know is to make your own ‘topsy turvy ‘ planter from a standard 5 gallon bucket, like the Home Depot Homer buckets. There is a circle on the bottom which just happens to correspond nicely with the size of the cutout you would need for the tomato plant to grow out of. Just cut the small circle on the bottom out, plant your tomato, fill with soil and invert. It even comes with its own handle!
