Secret Bases are different in Pokemon Pearl. You can’t make them in Sinnoh, it’s just not possible. Rather, if you go Underground with the exploration kit you get in Eterna City, and obtain a Digger Drill either from a Hiker in the Underground or by doing the quests of the man who gives you the kit, you can make a cave out of parts of the walls in the Underground. There will be a lot of rocks inside, but if you continue doing his quests he will let you move them all. (To Joe) Well Joe, Pokemon Red can’t stay new forever.
