How do I make a screen saver out of a PowerPoint show?
Saving the FormatOpen the PowerPoint 2007 presentation you would like to be your new screen saver and select the Microsoft Office button on the top left corner. Choose “Save as” and select “Other Formats.” A new screen will appear. In the center of the screen at the bottom, change the “Save As” selection to “Device independent Bitmap (*.bmp). Click “Save.”Setting as Screen SaverChoose “Every Slide” from the Microsoft Office dialog box. This exports all your slides so you can use them for your screen saver. If you don’t want to export all slides, choose “Current Slide Only” and pick only the slides you want. A popup box comes up that tells you where the slides have been saved. Click “OK.” Right-click on your desktop and click “Properties.” Choose the “Screensaver” tab and select “My Picture Slideshow” from the drop-down menu in the middle-left of the screen. Set how long you want each slide to appear by clicking the “Settings” button.
