How do I make a scatter plot for this chart on excel 2007?

Input the data as you have in your JPG Select all the data including the column/row labels. Make a “Line” chart (not the XY Scatter chart). The Line chart allows you to select the “M” column as the X-axis. I don’t think the XY Scatter chart allows that. If the data comes out backwards, right-click on a blank part of the chart and select Source Data. On the Source Data dialog with the Data Range tab, there should two “Series in” radio buttons labeled Rows and Columns. Select one or the other to toggle if Groups vs. “M” is on the X-axis. I think you should select Columns To make a Trend line, right-click on any of the graphed lines and select Trend Line. I don’t know of an easy way to make one trend line for all the Groups. You would have to calculate a sixth Group (called Trend) and graph that with the other groups.
