Microsoft PowerPoint, a type of presentation software developed by Microsoft, has many features enabling users to customize their slide show. One of those is the ability to add and play music throughout a presentation. Adding music can help set the right tone for your presentation and impress viewers with your level of customization. Inserting and playing music is a simple process. Open the PowerPoint presentation that you wish to add music to and navigate to the slide where you would like the music to begin playing. Select the “Insert” tab on the top of the screen. Select “Songs” from the ribbon. This option is found in the “Media Clips” section. Choose to insert a “Song from file.” This will allow you to browse your computer’s media in a separate dialogue window.
