HOW DO I MAKE A POLICE REPORT FOR INSURANCE PURPOSES?
To report an incident not needing an Officer dispatched to a location, police reports may be taken over the telephone at (805) 583-6938. They may also be taken at the Police Station front desk (map) from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Types of reports may include reporting lost or stolen property, aiding the return of lost property, or notifying the Police Department of vandalism or a minor theft without suspect identification.
