Once your student contributions or tuition fees have been deferred you will need to contact the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) if you wish to make a payment towards your HECS-HELP or FEE-HELP. You will also be notified of any outstanding HELP debt by the ATO. To contact the ATO call 13 28 61 or email hecs@ato.gov.au More information about HECS-HELP and FEE-HELP is available at www.goingtouni.gov.
