How do I make a modem connection over a digital (PBX) phone line?
• Connect the DPI cable (modem cable with attached black coupler) to the handset cable by detaching the curly cable from the digital phones handset. • Launch data or fax software. • DPI Assistant will pop up in Windows and prompt you to lift phone hand set from cradle. • Dial the phone number (indicated in the DPI Assistant or your application) on the phones base unit. • Modem connects as if connecting through standard analog phone line.
