How do i make a mermaid fin?
Well there are two ways you could go with this: You can make a hobble skirt (i.e. one with a very small bottom that is difficult to walk in) where the fin is at your feet, or you could make one that curves up to one side at the knee and leaves your legs free which would let you walk easier (but you’d need to wear black tights and shoes to ‘hide’ your legs). The second one is my favorite idea, since it’s easier to move in and gives the illusion that you’re ‘floating’ above the ground. It would need to be stuffed from where it seperates from your legs, but attaching the fin to your wrist with a string would even let you wave your fin. It’s more work, but I think it’s the better idea overall.
