How do I make a Blackboard test or survey available to students?
Students cannot access a test or survey unless a link to it has been created in a content area and that link made visible to students. If you want to preview an assessment before allowing students access to it, follow the instructions below, but in step 7, do not click Yes for Do you want to make this link visible in step 7. You can then access the assessment through the Control Panel, but the assessment link will not be visible to students. 1. In the Control Panel, navigate to the content area in which you’d like to create the link to your test or survey. Note that you can also create an assessment link inside of a folder or as part of a learning unit. 2. To link to a test, click Test in the Add toolbar.
