How do I make a BizX sale?
The BizX dollar is just another form of currency and a BizX sale should be processed just as a cash sale. All sales must be 100% trade unless previously approved by your BizX Account Executive (see When are part cash/part trade transactions permitted?) and all sales taxes should be included in your trade transaction amount. Gratuities are not included in barter transactions and must be paid in cash, generally a minimum of 15%. Record the sales transaction on a BizX Transaction Slip and obtain a valid authorization number for the transaction. Always obtain an authorization BEFORE transferring any product to or performing any work for the purchasing member. If making a large sale, such as construction services or a media package, you may want to arrange for payment installments as job benchmarks are met and with the final payment being made after the job is completed. All such payment agreements should be discussed with the buyer and must be approved by BizXchange before any work begins.
