How do I make a backup copy of my SurveyGold database file?
All of your SurveyGold data is stored in a single file that resides on your computer. This file is named survey.db and it is located in the same folder where you installed SurveyGold software. SurveyGold prompts you periodically to make a backup copy of this file. SurveyGold software periodically prompts you to make a backup copy of this file as you exit the program. As a general rule, it is a good practice to let SurveyGold make backups when you are offered. You can also make a backup copy of the SurveyGold database file via Windows Explorer as follows: STEP 1 Close SurveyGold software if it is running and launch Windows and navigate to the folder where the SurveyGold software is installed.
