Get one of those emory board nail files or a metal file for nails and give the tips a buff out once in a while(nothing crazy).After you really get some good callouses built up you will be alright for a couple of months and not even have to worry about a few weeks.Hey,you know a little ukulele is a good idea just to have around for some ideas.Toys R Us sells these little bitty kid guitars real cheap(like $20) and I bought a little goofy electric model with a speaker built into it…it goes anywhere and I can always keep my fingers and ideas going with it…Laters.
