How do I login and upload files to the Ginnie Mae BBS?
Before BBS connectivity is established between the Trading Partner and Ginnie Mae, each Trading Partner will be given a unique login and password. Additionally, each user will be provided access to the EDI file areas. Q: I connect to Ginnie Mae using the BBS and I keep getting a busy signal or other communication error. A: Call the Ginnie Mae BBS Hotline at 1-888-GINNIE4 (option 2) and provide our technical assistants with full details of your communications error. The technical assistant will verify that the BBS is operational and determine whether the busy signal is a result of normal Trading Partner usage. If all systems are considered functional, it is recommended that the Trading Partner work with their technical staff to ensure the busy signal is not a result of an incorrect configuration.
