You may locate obituaries in the Texana and Genealogy room on the sixth floor of the Central Library. Search by looking in the local newspaper. Look from the date of the death to a week after the death occurred. If the death occurred in San Antonio from 1933 to 1956, you will be able to find this information in the “Obituary File”.
