How do I locate Mendeley Desktops log files?

0

Mendeley Desktop records details about any problems that occur whilst it is running in a log file in the Mendeley data folder. Click here for instructions on where to find this folder on your computer. If you are using Mendeley Desktop 0.9.9 or later the file is called log-YYYY-MM-DD.txt (where ‘YYYY-MM-DD’ is the date when you were using the program). If you are using Mendeley Desktop 0.9.8.2 or earlier, this file is called log.txt. If you encounter problems with Mendeley Desktop, this log file may be helpful to diagnose the problem. If you encounter problems updating from one version of Mendeley Desktop to another, there is also a file called update-log-YYYY-MM-DD.txt (where ‘YYYY-MM-DD’ is the date when the auto update occurred) which may be useful to diagnose the problem.
