Yes, GeneSpring supports MIAME by controlling which attributes must be supplied by the user when loading an experiment. • What is the Standard Attributes file? The Standard Attributes file (StandardAttributes.xml) is the file in GeneSpring which controls which attributes are required from the user when loading an experiment. MIAME compliance is enforced through this file. • What is MAGE-ML? MAGE-ML is the Microarray Gene Expression mark-up language. MAGE-ML is developed by the MGED society. MAGE-ML is the standard data format for exchanging microarray data. • Does GeneSpring export MAGE-ML? GeneSpring exports MAGE-ML, however this is incomplete for submission to ArrayExpress as required by the NEBC.
