How do I load in my Patchman Music Volume 1 and Volume 2 sounds into my VL70-m?
New Custom VL70-m Voices are loaded into the VL70-m via either MIDI or via a serial cable connected to the VL’s “To Host” Serial port. We ship both the Expert Editor (.LIB) file AND the 10 Standard Midifiles with each VL70-m soundbank order. You get both formats in the package. Between these two formats, we recommend using the PC or Mac Expert Editor since it allows you to pick and choose which 6 Voices to load into the 6 VL70-m’s Custom slots. It is only possible to load a maximum of 6 Custom Voices into the VL70-m. The VL70-m holds only 6 of your own Custom sounds. Yes, this is a limitiation that is built into the VL70-m and, no, there is no trick around this limitation.
