How do i litter box train my new kitten?
I know this may sound odd but if you collect the poop and put it in the litter box it may convince her. If she was an outside cat or stray they are very difficult to house train let alone litter train. Generally they get the idea from the other adult cat they were raised by. Deter her from peeing in areas by using a vinegar water solution sprayed where she peed at. Continue to take her to her box and reward her for pooping and peeing like you would a dog. They are just as much as territory and sent as any animal. My kitten had poop accidents and that’s what I did was put the poop in the litter box and then put the cat in the box with it so it knew that is where to go. Good luck.
