How do I link to PDFs or other content from a ChannelAdvisor Store item?
From an item detail page, you can link to any content you like. You can’t upload PDFs to ChannelAdvisor directly but you can link to them if they are hosted externally. Here are some strategies to link to external content that must be different on a per-SKU level. There are two main approaches: Approach 1 – If you have the ability to change the name of the filenames to match the name of the SKU of the inventory item, then you can create a link based on that SKU. Steps for performing this: a – Make sure your filenames are named like SKU.pdf. For example if the name of your SKU is CHMC123, then you want the filename to be: CHMC123.pdf b – Make sure your files are hosted someplace outside of ChannelAdvisor. c – Modify your item detail layout (Stores > Manage Layouts > Item Detail Layout) and include a link to your content, like: Click here for more information This technique could be used with other system tag
