As an additional layer of protection for the identity of the respondents, the variable that links the Adult, Adolescent, and Child files has been removed from the PUF. This variable is available only through the Data Access Center. However, some information from the Adult file has been added to the Child and Adolescent records (e.g., race, poverty status).
