How do I level up pokmon that are currently extremely weak?
Every pokmon that has hit the opponent at least once (or explicitly done nothing) will currently gain experience for this. As such, the proper tactic would be to keep your weak pokmon on top, have them hit once or expressly do nothing (crucial difference to the games), then switch in a more powerful pokmon to finish the battle for them. Note that TK’s guide to levelling up weak pokmon (linked to below) was done before the ‘Do nothing’ option existed.
