How do I let my friend know about a Radio@AOL station I like?
If you are instant messaging while listening to Radio@AOL the name of the Radio@AOL station you are listening can be displayed at the bottom of the history display, above the toolbar on the IM window. Your friend can click the radio indicator or the radio icon to directly access the AOL Radio station you are listening to. Note: If you are typing, the typing indicator [“Screen Name is typing”] will display instead. However, the Radio indicator icon and link are always available, even when the typing indicator is displayed. Your friend can also roll his/her mouse over your Screen Name in his/her Buddy List window to display the Buddy Quick View window. Your friend can click the radio indicator or the radio icon displayed in the middle of the window. To turn off Radio@AOL sharing: • Click Setup on the bottom of the Buddy List window. • Click IM Settings and select the General IM tab. • Un-tick Allow members to see what Radio@AOL station I am listening to during an IM conversation. • Click
