To learn new codes click on the palette editor tab and switch the mode to edit (top of tab). Locate the brand of the device that the new codes will be used on and click “+” symbol. Click “+” symbol again to select the component type. Select Hex for Pronto, 232 for 232 strings or 1 for IR commands. A list of the most common commands will appear on the right. To learn a command right click on the listed command and select Record Command. With hex paste the pronto string into the new window, for RS232 enter the manufacturers string, for IR point the manufacturers remote at the learning eye on the touch panel. Don’t forget to switch back to Palette mode before assigning your newly learned commands.
