How do I know which fingerprint process needs to be completed for my charter school employees?

A.R.S. §15-183.C.4 establishes two distinct fingerprinting processes for charter school personnel – the fingerprint clearance card and the fingerprint check. The individual’s position with the school determines which process must be followed. A.R.S. §15-183.C.4 requires all persons engaged in instructional work directly as a classroom, laboratory or other teacher or indirectly as a supervisory teacher, speech therapist or principal to have a valid fingerprint clearance card. All other personnel must be fingerprint checked pursuant to A.R.S. §15-512. For more information, please see the referenced sections of law and the fingerprinting processes table.
