How do I know which diamond traders and manufacturers are Code signatories?
You may ask your supplier if he/she is a Code signatory. The Code Committee will publish and maintain on its website a list of all Code signatories who gave the authorization in the Signatory Registration Form. Go to www.canadiandiamondcodeofconduct.com and click on Code Signatory Registry. You may also obtain confirmation of Code signatories by contacting the CDCC. All Code signatories must ensure that they purchase Canadian diamonds from suppliers that abide by the minimum requirements outlined in the Code if they wish to represent these diamonds as Canadian.
