How do I know which Air-Tite size or type I need for my coin?

This is the most common question we get. If your coin measures 30mm you will need a 30mm holder, 38mm coins require 38mm holders, etc. In most cases you’ll have two options for modern US coins: direct fit or ring type (see next question for more info). Some older or more obscure US coins, and most foreign coins will only fit in a ring type capsule. If you’re unsure about the diameter of your coin you can visit our Coin Size Chart for more information.
