It is easy to distinguish between SmartPhones and Pocket PC according to the way they work. If you want to set up your new device or download add-on software, you need to know which version of Windows Mobile is installed on your device. Pocket PC have a touch screen and the corresponding stylus. Additionally, the Windows logo is displayed on the top left of the start screen with Pocket PC. SmartPhones do not have a touch screen or a stylus. The Windows logo is displayed on the bottom left of the start screen with these telephones. SmartPhones are equipped either with a full keyboard or with a 12-key keyboard.
