How do I know what to expect to pay out-of-pocket for major dental work?
If you anticipate extensive dental services your dental office can submit the treatment plan to DPO for review before any work is actually done. This is known as a predetermination of benefits. A predetermination of benefits allows both you and your dentist to know exactly what is covered and what your plan will pay. There is no charge for having a predetermination done.
