How do I know what kind of security system my WiFi access point has?
When you see your WiFi access point in the list of recognized access points (Menu > Settings > Wireless controls > WiFi settings > WiFi networks), underneath the name of the WiFi point, you will see either “Open network” (no security system – thus no password needed), “Secured with WPA” (a good quality security system that requires a password or a pass-phrase), or “Secured with WEP” (a low quality security system that requires a password of exactly 10 or 26 characters consisting of 0-9 and A-F).
