The short answer is your midi song will use whatever drum map you tell it to use. It’s a matter of tracking what map you put in. This information is determined by the settings you select in your midi sequencer. That’s why the exact same midi song can sound different on a different computer. Midi files only contain the instructions for what notes to play; they don’t “know” what sound is supposed to exist on those notes, and they don’t contain the sound itself. Open the program you are using to write the song. Look for a sound file that came with the music-writing program. It should be called “Drum Reference” or something similar. It could also be in the Help document for a written version of the same thing.
