The Gwynfynydd Mines Royal site is owned via a subsidiary of Welsh Gold plc – Aur Cymru Ccc. The last working gold mine in Wales closed underground on March 30th 1999. Since then a small amount of gold is being recovered from the old mine tips and it is this gold which we now offer.
