Uniprop Investments has established strict guidelines in terms of risk, potential profit, location and development partners. In addition, procedures have been put in place to ensure that each property is very carefully assessed and evaluated. The following procedure is followed: Brokers or scouts submit prospective developments to Uniprop Investments, Independent business consultants will evaluate the potential of the development, and if satisfied as to the potential, will contract with a valuator to conduct a feasibility study. A consortium proposal is then drafted and submitted to the board of Uniprop Investments for evaluation and approval. Application will be made to a financial institution for funding (gearing) if necessary. The Financial Institution will do its own due diligence before a bond is granted. Only once all of the above has been completed then will the go-ahead for a project be granted.
