Following concerns from some parents, trustees enacted new guidelines in Policy DFDH – School Fees to limit the items and services for which fees can be charged. The guidelines also state that the purpose of fees must be clearly defined, schools do not profit from fees charged, and fees are not to be used as a fundraiser for schools. These guidelines apply to all of the fees charged.
