How do I know if WebAssign is down?
The WebAssign system is rarely out of order. In the unlikely event of a problem with WebAssign, the login page displays a message indicating that we are experiencing technical difficulties and your instructor is notified via email. He is able to grant an extension if necessary. We monitor WebAssign constantly and work diligently to restore access if there is ever a problem. Over the last several years, unexpected outages have occurred only a few times and they have averaged less than twenty minutes. If you are having problems accessing the WebAssign site, it is probably due to your connection or a problem between your connection and ours.
