How do I know if the Queens Paideia School is right for my child?
Queens Paideia designs a learning plan to fit each child’s stage of educational and personal development. Our approach helps students develop the internal resources and motivation to take responsibility for their own progress by involving them—with their teachers and parents—in creating their own learning plans and defining the learning objectives to which they commit. All of this encourages a child to become an independent learner who enjoys seeking out knowledge and has the confidence and personal resources to do so. We do not expect students to come in with these skills from the start, but rather anticipate a process by which each child gradually shifts from being a guided, passive learner to a more active one. Most children flourish in such an environment, given enough time, space, encouragement, and positive modeling.
