In most cases, all classes with a grade of “C” or better from an accredited college are transferable to the NLC. The state of Maryland limits the number of lower-level (e.g., 100-200/freshman-sophomore) credits we can accept to 70. With the appropriate mix of lower and upper-level classes, the NLC can accept up to 90 credits. We cannot accept credit for developmental or remedial coursework even if it was taken at an accredited college. All transfer credit is accepted at the discretion of the Registrar’s Office at the NLC.
