If it’s a female platy that’s ever had contact with a male platy, she’s probably pregnant. I don’t know when she’ll have babies, but, gestation time is somewhere around 4 to 6 weeks. She can continue to have batches of fry every month or so for several months after just one insemination, so get ready for lots of babies. She’ll get really fat, she’ll look like she’s going to explode she’ll be so fat, and when she’s about to drop fry, she’ll get to be sort of square shaped and kind of hang out in a quiet corner of your tank. If you want to keep the babies, you should probably move her to a separate tank, (soon! if you do it too close to when she’s going to drop, she’ll abort herself due to stress) then, when she’s done, move her back so she doesn’t eat any.
