How do I know if my grades in English and other humanities/social science courses are acceptable for the purpose of being exempt from submitting TOEFL?
You must have a minimum of three years of full-time study, with satisfactory academic results in an English language school system, where the primary language of instruction and evaluation was English. In addition, you must have acceptable grades in English and other humanities/social science courses from your senior secondary year. If you think you meet this requirement for exemption, submit a formal letter to the Office of the Registrar, Admissions, asking for exemption consideration (the letter must be written by the student, and should provide a reason for the exemption request). The letter should be submitted no later than March 15, 2008 and should include the following: • Full name • Date of birth • OUAC Reference Number • School currently attending • Contact information including a current mailing address, an e-mail address, and telephone number All decisions will be at the discretion of the Director, Admissions and are final.
