When you first access the Nipissing University Blackboard/WebCT Welcome page, there are two links which invite you to check your browser. PLEASE DO THIS BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT TO LOG IN FOR THE FIRST TIME. The Check Browser utility determines: • which browser you are using • if your browser has both cookie tracking and JavaScript enabled • if your browser’s popup blocker is turned off • which version of Java you have installed and if it should be updated The check will indicate if you must address any of these settings and will direct you to a number of links which provide information about how to adjust these settings.
