How do I know if my CardBus network card/multifunction card is installed correctly?
When the card is inserted, you should hear a double beep, and an installation wizard should prompt you for a Drivers Disk. If you continue to experience problems with your card, perform the steps below to isolate the problem: • Check for a double beep as your card is inserted. This indicates that the system recognizes your card and has loaded the driver correctly. • Click on Start > Settings > Control Panel. Locate and double-click System, then click on the Device Manager tab. Look for the Network Adapters entry. Click on the plus sign to expand the list of adapters. Check for your network card’s model name and/or number. If it is not there, go to step 4.
