Just assume your baby is completely normal. He will advance at his own pace, no matter what you do. I remember new moms bragging that their 3 month old was potty trained. NOT! The mom just put the poor kid on the potty so often that she had to get a hit once in a while. Usually, once mom has it figured out when baby is most likely to go, she puts baby on the potty. Guess who’s ‘trained’? The more time you spend with your baby, cuddling, talking, reading, playing, etc. the more advanced your child will be. His IQ power will show up later…maybe preschool.
