How do I know if I submitted the protocol properly in eSirius?
If you have completed the ‘Error Verification’ process in eSirius that checks to see that all the required fields are complete, and filled in any required fields that you missed, then from a technical point of view when the “Submit to the IACUC Office” button is clicked, the protocol has be properly submitted. However, this does not necessarily mean that all of the content information that the IACUC will need to approve the protocol is in the protocol. Following both the pre-review and IACUC meeting review processes you may need to add or modify the information in the protocol. When the protocol is APPROVED you will get an official notification of the approval.
