After you install DirectRoute on your PC, when you start the program, there is a startup screen that will help you determine if you have DirectRoute capable firmware. If you don’t have the right firmware, the Firmware Upgrade CD and the Magellan website can help you find the right firmware for your GPS receiver. Please be sure to use only firmware designed for your GPS unit.
