You can register to vote in New Mexico if you are a United States citizen, you will be eighteen years old before or on November 4, 2008, you are a resident of New Mexico, and you have not been declared mentally incompetent. If you have been convicted of a felony, you can register to vote if you have completed all terms and conditions of your sentence (see item 9 below).
