How do I know if a product follows the latest SMPTE standards and/or NATOs Digital Cinema System Requirements?

Note that simply asking for “DCI compliance” does not guarantee that ALL SMPTE standards are met, and will not guarantee that NATO’s Digital Cinema System Requirements are met.
