How do I know I have the REAL NuBra?
There is only one maker of NuBra, and that is Bragel – a US-based company that is also the patent-holder of the product in several countries including the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and China. All authentic NuBra silicone products are made in the US. And as far as I know, none of the silicone adhesive bras are made in China where most of the knock-offs come from. (11/30/07 Update: The UBra, a new product from Bragel is made in China. However, it is a specially designed deep plunge padded fabric bra that has NO silicone content.) If you have any doubt as to the authenticity of a NuBra being listed, you can report the listing for investigation through the contact information on the Bragel VeRO page. As an added precaution, Bragel stamps hologram seals on their boxes to indicate that it is an authentic Bragel product. To stay a step ahead of the copycats, Bragel continually updates the hologram seals they use.
