• Enrol early in the Field Studies unit. • Read your QUT emails regularly. • Always use your QUT student email address, and provide your student number and unit code when you correspond with the Field Experience Office. How is my placement organised? All placements must be organised by the Placements Officers through the Field Experience Office (FEO). For placement in areas away from the Greater Brisbane, Gold and Sunshine Coasts students may be asked to assist the Placement Officers with this process. Placements are negotiated with sites according to the field studies unit requirements, not individual students’ preferences. To facilitate the placement process QUT preservice teachers will: • Enter on-line their geographical preferences for placement.
