How do I keep my dog from barking in the hotel room??
I too have a yorkie. I have had him in many different hotel chains – and NONE of them allow pets to be alone in the room. So what hotel chain are you using? And if you are just worried about the 45 minutes you will be at the pool, why dont you take him and walk about outside of the pool while your sis is swimming? Unless she is some kind of professional, why is it so important to take her to the pool? On a personal note, I would NEVER leave my purebred yorkie in a hotel room alone even if it was allowed. He means much more to me than an hour at the pool. And he does need some training. I have a 17 month old yorkie that is not agressive at all. He doesnt growl at people. And he would NEVER bite (even play bite) anyone. We have been to three training classes. As you know, yorkies are very smart. He learned all of the material very fast. He’s CGC certified.
